WeForest made an incredible impact for the environment and local communities in 2023, all thanks to you!
We restored almost 20k hectares in 2023, reaching our goal to grow and protect 100 million trees two years early.
We forged new partnerships, grew our team of forestry experts, strengthened our income-generating programmes for communities and restored more land than ever before.
In 2023 the farmers in Zambia had a bumper harvest of 65 tons of high quality honey.
During the first year of operation for WeForest Malawi as a legal entity, the team delivered essential support after Cyclone Freddy devastated communities in Mount Mulanje.
Eclosio and Oceanium, partners in our mangroves projects, rolled out local production and marketing of salt, mangrove honey, oysters, fish and local fruits.
