Disclaimer warning on fraudulent activities misrepresenting WeForest

Please be aware that fraudulent organizations, platforms (both online and offline) and/or individuals can falsely present themselves as representatives of our company or as being (economically) linked to our company, by using our trademarks, trade name, logos, brand image or other company elements without our permission. Such use constitutes a violation of our exclusive rights and harms the professional interests
of our company. Under this false pretence, they might try to mislead you and gain access to your personal information or to acquire money or other valuables from you. 

We disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, claim, expense or inconvenience as a result of any interaction or engagement with and/or misrepresentation or fraud made by fraudulent entities.

We therefore ask you to remain vigilant about potential fraudulent organizations, platforms (both online and offline) and/or individuals. When dealing with suspicious activities, please ensure that you:

  • Verify authenticity: Always confirm the authenticity of communications or transactions involving WeForest by directly contacting us through our official channels. Do not rely on links, email addresses or phone numbers provided in unsolicited or suspicious communications.
    • We do not send out communication from personal email addresses hosted on domains such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. Official communication from WeForest will always come from emails ending in @weforest.org
    • To ensure that you are engaging with legitimate representatives of WeForest, please only use the contact information provided on our official website: www.weforest.org/contact.
  • Are wary of unsolicited or suspicious messages: Be cautious of unsolicited messages, calls or emails claiming to represent WeForest, especially if they request sensitive information, advance payments, or immediate actions.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive information: Do NOT disclose personal, financial or sensitive information and do NOT send any money to unknown or unverified entities claiming to be affiliated with WeForest.
  • Report suspicious activity: If you receive what you believe is a virus, phishing, spam or fraudulent email or message from any individual or company purporting to represent WeForest, do NOT respond to these messages. Please email us at info@weforest.org forwarding the email or message. If you feel you have been the victim of such a scam, you should contact local law enforcement authorities.
