Practical and positive climate action, for everyone

We’re not going to tell you what the IPCC’s 2021 Climate Report says.

We think you probably know by now – and just in case you don’t, here’s a helpful summary from the World Resources Institute.

Instead, we’d like to give you some practical actions. Take a look at Project Drawdown’s Table of Solutions

Some are small, and some are big. Many are things that your company can do, like reducing food waste, committing to renewable energy and going “net-zero”, or supporting large-scale forest conservation and peatland re-wetting. Our recommendation remains the same: reduce emissions, and only consider offsetting what you cannot avoid.

There’s something there for everyone, and you can even see each solution’s impact in the two projected scenarios for our future: a 2°C temperature rise by 2100, or a 1.5°C temperature rise by the end of the century. Actually, the IPCC report says the most serious scenario  is very likely to happen in just 20 years.

There’s no hiding from this now. There’s no denying it. EVERYONE needs to be cutting emissions NOW.

Be bold. Choose the solutions that make the biggest impact – and start doing them today.
