Converse, Everyone has owned a pair of Converse! The iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and One Star sneakers have been around for more than a century. But Converse is about more than new street style classics. Like Nike, Inc., their parent company since 2003, Converse has an ongoing commitment to create a more sustainable future for our planet. They have implemented practical, measurable strategies for sustainability, water conservation, energy conservation, material selection and indoor environmental quality.  Converse has an ongoing commitment to serving youth, including helping them create the change they want to see in their communities. Through an extensive portfolio of impact partners and programs, Converse empowers communities by fueling youth leadership and sparking their creativity to drive true change.

Our Partnership

Through community partnerships and programmes established locally, nationally or by one of their global offices, Converse are proud to work with some inspiring organisations that are driving real change for their causes and communities. 

Starting in 2024, Converse stores in Europe – in the UK, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal – are introducing a €0.35 charge for paper bags which will be donated to WeForest to make an impact where it’s needed most. In uniting community development and forest restoration, we can create positive change and ensure communities and youth remain resilient for generations to come.
