Um diese “natürliche Technologie” zu nutzen und für nachfolgenden Generationen das Klima zu schützen, forstet die Versicherung "Die Bayerische" in ihrer nachhaltigen Linie "pangaea.life" seit 2017 in der Kooperation mit WeForest Wälder auf. Nun hat "Die Bayerische" im Rahmen der Kooperation mit dem Bayerischen Lehrer- und Lehrerinnenverband (BLLV) dieses Engagement ausgeweitet.
On 13 August, Harry Lyon-Smith, Illustration Ltd’s CEO, and his wife, Juliet, had the delight of planting Illustration's 500,000th tree in Zambia. Illustration Ltd had previously planted 500,000 trees in Ethiopia, so have reached the magic number of 1 million trees, with every ambition to keep on planting.

EOCA is a group of businesses in the outdoor industry who have joined forces for a common cause. They’ve committed to working with us to help fund our cloud forest restoration efforts in India’s East Khasi Hills.
Thanks to the support of EOCA, 102 hectares of cloud forest are being restored. That’s 85,000 trees.

In partnership with WeForest, Kwadraat has helped to plant trees and restore the landscapes of Ethiopia, Brazil and Burkina Faso. Together, Kwadraat's trees have the potential to sequester an estimated 15,609 tons of CO2 once they reach maturity.

Our partner, TreeSisters, is calling for 2500 women to join them in becoming tree sisters, contributing £10 (or more) a month by October 20, which will fund approximately 100,000 trees a month and over one million trees in the coming year.
TreeSisters aim to restore the earth's forest, one woman at a time.
Looking after the environment means a happier world for all, and ultimately an even yummier, natural wholefoods for us to snack on! Since 2014, we've been working with with the guys at WeForest to offset our carbon emissions. WeForest are an interntional non-profit association raising awareness around biodiverse tree planting and have planted over 13 million trees to date, enabled by the donations of corporate supporters.
“I should begin by saying that the irony of writing about safeguarding our environment whilst on a two-year motorcycle journey around the world has not escaped me. That said, my travels have enabled me to witness disturbing goings-on that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. (…) What began to dawn on me was that wherever I went, man’s impact on his beautiful, robust yet fragile home was very apparent.
We are excited to hear we have crossed the 400,000 tree mark in our pledge to plant one million every five years with WeForest.
The journey started in 2012 when we made a formal pledge to donate 1% of our global turnover to the systematic planting of trees for the foreseeable future. Delighted to hear we have helped to plant over four hundred thousand so far, MD of Illustration; Harry Lyon-Smith says "It is thanks to our clients that these trees are being planted, by funding 80 trees for every job we do, on average ". We did it! Thanks to your engagement, COTY planted 30,000 trees to benefit the programs of WeForest in 2 locations: half in the Upper Paraná Atlantic Rainforest Ecoregion of Brazil and half in the East Khasi Hills in the Meghalaya subtropical forests ecoregion of India.
