Green Action & Volunteering Week
In 2022, DB Schenker launched the “Leading the Way Challenge” to celebrate its 150th anniversary by engaging employees in a global sustainability initiative. The challenge encouraged staff to log physical activities, with each kilometer translating into a company donation.
In the first quarter, focusing on Earth, DB Schenker partnered with WeForest to support forest restoration. Employees’ activities—walking, running, cycling, and quiz participation—helped fund projects like Ethiopia’s Desa’a Forest, tackling desertification and poverty.
