In the village of Kinesi in Tanzania, distributing trees makes a real difference for the community as well as for the environment.
Why is it important to plant a tree?
In Tanzania, trees are being planted in local nurseries and afterwards they are being distributed among families and secondary schools that take care of them.
As parents we want to be able to look into our children’s eyes and say we did our best. At WeForest, that means doing something to reverse the world’s climate crisis.
Before getting involved in the project, the school grounds at Kyaro primary school were bare and lifeless.
In August, our team had the opportunity to visit Muhundwe Primary School in Kinesi, Tanzania, to check up on how they’re progressing with our project.
