Life at the nursery

brazil_nursery
WeForest’s tree planting efforts in Brazil serve to reconnect the biodiverse but highly fragmented Atlantic forest.

After being trained to identify and mark seed bearing trees, local people collect seeds from the remaining patches of forest to grow at our nurseries.

This is where our trees begin their lives, at our eight community-based nurseries, home to 115 native tree species.
