First seeds planted in Tigray

Picture1
We are excited to announce that the first of our nurseries is in operation in Tigray.

The project, launched last year, restores forests through exclosure zones. Seeds have been planted in the Mygoa nursery and we’re just waiting for them to germinate.

Over the coming months we will continue to collect seeds from nearby forests and purchase them locally. We will be setting up more nurseries as well so that we can get as many trees growing as possible.

It is our aim to plant 32,380 trees this year.
